I have been wanting this book for a long time but can't afford it. I contacted our local library and to my surprize they said they would buy it and have it here within 2 weeks. This is going to be a long two weeks. Hope no one else plans on checking it out once it's in. I can get online renewals for about 6 months.

Picked this up last night. It's on loan from another library so I only get it for 3 weeks. No renewals.

Started looking through it. Much of it is over my head but it's also answering a lot of questions. Great chapter about Parasitology. Many photos for visual learners like me. I highly recomend it.Steve

I have it
it's a great book, useful in a couple of ways (it also weighs more than 8lbs and is more attractive than a brick)
it is really a medical text and I find my pre-meds come in handy, as well as Taber's and the Merck manualrhea
