    I just can't get over the fact that that's their defensive response. They're not even coiling up to strike, like my tetra does, for example. They're just curling up and won't move even if you poke them. You have to pick them up before they'll give up the act.

    is it just me or are they puffed up????? 'cause that's what mine does but he never strikes eather and he only "depuffs" when i pick him up too!!!

    They fed yesterday and they are a massive species. Somebody here had pictures of an infernalis together with a terrestris the difference is really noticable.

    Stefan, those are beautiful snakes! Does that picture show their true colouring? I've always thought they were on the brownish side, but here they look grey and silvery. I LOVE it!

    Depends on the lighting. As soon as it's bit warmer outside, I'm going to take a few photos in proper sunlight.
