    Re: Kleos journal.

Kleo's going to shed again. This will be her third shed with me. But no wonder, she was eating like crazy some solid stuff (hoppers) and now it's time to grow, hie, hie, hie. :>

Oh, and my snakemania continues. Now I'm dying to buy Elaphe dione and Lampropeltis triangulum gentilis. But that's it! Unless I see some garter around...

Kleo must be doing some good growing, nice job.
Sounds like my Shyblue. She's going into another shed also.

Kleo shed yesterday (one day earlier than I have expected) - of course I had to help her in the bath (this time it was my fault - too low humidity and too high temperature, because there was a sunny day and I forgot to turn off the heat cable). Today she ate a fuzzy, yay!

Anyway, I discovered that she likes to change her menu. Last time she was eating anything scented with molly fish on sight. Now she was picky and didn't catch scented with molly fish fuzzy, but she grabbed a fuzzy scented with swordtail. Probably in a few weeks she'll be loving guppies.

Glad to hear Kleo is eating and shedding, again.
She must be happy in her surroundings.

Yeah, I was worry that change of her place and yesterday's bath will stress her, but it seems she used to it (not that she was overall happy with my treatment!). Izy still doesn't have proper apetite though, but she's way more active than Kleo. Hope her piggy attitude will come back soon.

Hah, lol, I was looking at Amon, when I have noticed that Lucky the Mouse went out of his cage and started to eat dried smelt, that my girls didn't want to eat. Now I know what to do with them besides throwing them off.

    Re: Kleos journal.

So I left a swordtail in the water dish hoping that Izy will eat it. Kleo ate a big, fat smelt day before, so I have assumed that she'll not go for it. I totally forgot about it and remembered about after a few hours. The swordtail has dissappeared, but I guess Kleo ate it (simple observation of her belly, but as I said, she ate a smelt, so I'm not sure). She became The Eater, so I doubt Izy ate the swordtail...
I'm getting somewhere with Amon - he still doesn't eat, but he's starting to show some interest in his food. It's over 2 months while he's not eating.

I don't know what you to say about Amon. I'm guessing it's just the time of year but I know nothing about house snakes.

Is he losing wait? Is he acting any different?
