    Yes, keep it wet and be extra careful removing the eye caps. Sounds like you are doing fine.

    Ok I did it and Z is not in the main tank again looking brand new. I will keep the tank more humid from here on out. Thank you for all the help.

    If you don't have a shed hide in the enclosure try putting in a larger water bowl that helps keep the humidity up and when you notice your snakes going opaque cover most of the top of the tank with a towel for a couple of days.

    Sorry I'm not Scott or Jeff, but this has worked for me in the past.

    , I am 99% sure I got both eye caps but is there a way to tell? Same with the lip scale.

    Me too. A shallow large water dish placed near or on a heat source, cover tank partially with a towel. But still keep water for drinking on the cool end. Garters don't like to drink warm water.

    Quick update all snakes are doing fine both babies are shedding without a problem now. Quick question though I have two females and 1 male in the same cage at what age should they be seperated?
