My daughter bought my wife and I tickets and roundtrip airfare to Chicago and back to attend the Tina Turner concert a year or so ago. We had a great time! I'm pretty sure that was the only "concert" I've ever attended. We had a great time!

Right, I think I need to shove you all on a plane and get you to England!
From the sounds of things you're all very deprived in the way of live music!
I'm only 23 and I've easily been to over 50 gigs, I should kidnap you all and let you loose in Reading/Download Festival!

I live 5 minutes north of Portland, Oregon (numerous venues) and only 10 minutes from the Clark County (Washington State) Amphitheater. Top bands play all summer long. No shortage of live music at all! Let's see...

June 11 Crosby Stills and Nash

July 2nd Sarah McLachlan, Sugarland, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu and Colbie Caillat

    July 23 Toby Keith.

Just wait 'till August and all the best rock bands will be there! Last summer I saw Nickelback and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Yeah, their live performance was definitely not a disappointment.

Back in the 90's Queensryche was on tour supporting the "Empire" LP, the show was so outstanding I went to 5 others after the first.

The opening act (i forget now who it was) sucked so bad, that by show number 2 we had it down pat when to enter the arena late, just in time to miss the opening act, and right at the start of intermission.

Worked out great, avoid the rush getting in, park closest to the exit, and the encore to every show was "silent lucidity" so we would duck out during the final song of the encore, beating the rush to leave too.
