So today I found the first snake of the year.

How far did you have to travel for that video?

25-30 km, but it wasn't in order to find something to film or to find snakes. I just bring a camera whenever I head into the countryside.

So the other day I was visiting my grand mom and she has about 20 acres of woods. I wasn't out for long, but i did get some pictures. Unfortunately I did not find any snakes only found 2 salamanders, anyways, here's the pics:

Very pretty land. Salamanders are a nice find. All I ever find are bugs anymore.

yea I love walking around the woods at her house. and yea definitely a lot of bugs around here haha

I live right on a swamp. this time of the year wild garters are everywhere in my back woods. gotta be careful not to step on em! some even manage to get into my house.
