    Woo -hoo!

Ok, so I had to go look up who this David guy is(out of shear curiosity)- kinda old? He's like 84!

Its ok- I'm not officially single myself either- I have a wife, she just isnt home right now (and hasnt been for the last 8 months). Kinda starting to wonder if something's wrong.

    Re: Neighbors think your nuts?

When neighbors etc start making someone's life miserable via broadcasting exaggerated negativity (minus any details of truth that might detract from shock value of what they are saying), it makes one think that the USA is NOT a free country at all! Someone who owns multiple animals regardless of species, is a favorite target of such troublemakers.

How does anybody who hasn't gone into your house and counted the snakes in their cages (not an easy thing to do either, many times if you tried to count the snakes in my snake enclosures, you would come up with zero visible snakes!) know how many snakes you might have? Where did the troublemakers pick their figure of 50 from, the sky? (Or more likely from their imagination enhanced by the quest to get attention with their whining!)

It's a sure thing that your snakes aren't barking in the night, or defecating in other people's yards or tearing up anybody's trash etc.

You're doing the best thing you can do when faced with such troublemakers with inflated imaginations and disregard for logic and truth....don't tell anybody anything.

Loren, I just saw a T shirt that read:

It's better to have loved and lost,
Than to live with the psycho the rest of your life.

Not sure if it's appropriate for you or not, but it did give me a giggle. :-)

    Re: Neighbors think your nuts?

=="Wanna see my snake, little girl?" takes on a whole new meaning with us, huh?

ROFL, I also bred, trained, and showed German Shepherd dogs for years, until a couple of years ago when I moved here to my present home and decided to take a break from 20 years of cleaning up dog sh**.

Even now, I still do much pedigree and genetic research on German Shepherd Dogs, Collies, and some other animals.

Among dog people, the term "bitch" is the CORRECT word to use to describe a female dog and dog people usually forget how people outside of the hobby use and interpret this word.

I cannot count the number of times a group of my fellow dog breeder friends and I have been sitting in a restaurant discussing our dogs, or shows, or bloodlines, etc, when....startled looks or comments from other people nearby reminded us that the rest of the world sees the word "bitch" as a dirty word!

    Re: Neighbors think your nuts?

Somewhere once in a chatroom, I saw someone saying men are all snakes. I replied saying " Don't insult the snakes, snakes are much more predictable, much easier to live with, and you don't have to worry about them lying, raising hell, or cheating on you!"
