I don't think northwesterns are unremarkable at all! They are gorgeous in my opinion! But I think normal easterns are beautiful too!!

Northwesterns aren't unremarkable. They're such beautifully varied little snakes. I mean, look at Azul. He's the prettiest baby of the bunch. Too bad he's so frail.

Whatever. I just don't find this snake particularly remarkable or attractive. nothing wrong with that. I'm just saying that most of them aren't all that great looking but obviously there are many that are very attractive.

I think the red stripe ones are awesome, but I agree with Richard they re not really impressive. But they are cool.

By "not really impressive" I mean "not HUGELY impressive" as in, not stunning. But plz dont get me wrong, they're AWESOME. As are all normal and drab snakes.

That's what I said. "unremarkable" as in, ordinary, lacking distinction, being of no special quality or type, average, common, unimpressive, mediocre, plain.

At the same time, you can also occasionally find very remarkable specimens that are truly one of a kind such as this erythristic male:

    Or this stripeless male:

I really like the drab ones too though, Chantel. I just don't think "WOW!!!"

Well, I think "WOW!" every time I see a snake that looks like a log of poop, or a log of moss. All snakes are worthy of a "WOW!" whether they're colourful or not. Mama may be brown and white, but she's the most beautiful garter I've ever seen.

To each his own. I think Amy is the most beautiful garter snake I've ever owned. I may or may not change my mind about that when my high red albino red sided arrives (soon)

Plus I did get one of those red albino radixes from Julio. It's going to be a while before she colors up though.
