A few pics of our outing today.
    IMAG0656.jpgIMAG0657.jpgIMAG0662.jpg

The first two are of a big girl I found in the middle of the clearing we were at. She was very long and had a giant head. Very pretty teal colored neck. The next one is a young NW male very calm and beautifully marked.

We went hiking today after I got off work. It was beautiful out, sunny and high 60's. We found 3 snakes, 1 NW, and 2 Pugets. Here are the Pugets. We didn't get a shot of the NW, it was too fast, but it was a big one.

    I'm jealous.

The puget in the first two pics, did it have some sort of injury to below the neck or is it just bits of dirt/leaves/grass from the ground that makes it's skin look a bit odd?
