Re: Gail's garter - the snake kind silly.

Good. But I would continue. At least once a day here on out until you've been doing it 7-10 days.

Watch that first couple of days after stopping. Make sure it isn't swelling up again. If it does, you know what to do.

It does look like a huge improvement for just a few days. But every time I've seen that and stopped, it turned out to be too early and just swelled right back up again.

Richard, thanks. I'll continue with the swabbing w/Hibiclens diluted. I'll just be happy when she can get back into the mondo-condo with Mona, and so will she.

Nothing says love like the bite of a garter.

Well then I just may want to be un-loved.

It stopped itchin' about 10 min ago, but I washed it off with 91% rubbing alcohol right after she decided to let go. Not much swelling, just little red.

On another note......Sadie it doing great and much happier to back in the big tank. But then she did try to bite Mona at dinner time. I wonder if the fish just sent them into a feeding frenzy cause they don't act like this with worms or pinkies.

Interesting. Glad you didn't have too severe a reaction. Not sure severe was the right word.

This morning it looks like a few little scratches, no redness or itching. Maybe I'm immune to the toxins because I'm kissing their little bodies all the time.
