I have a snake in the freezer reserved for just such an occasion except I'll probably put it their mailbox or toss it onto the front seat of their car when the window is open and it's blocking my mailbox.

I prefer to use dead raccoons/foxes for things like that

Just went to walmart two days ago. Low and behold, found Alfapet aspen bedding, 560 cubic inches, (9 liters) expands to 1250 cubic inches (20 liters) $2.87

It doesn't look like much, but it took less than one bag to use on 1 55 gallon long tank, 2 20 gallon longs, 2 10 gallon, and I didn't have to be stingy with it. Got two bags of that, and 30 night crawlers for 10 bucks. Not bad.

I get a bale of 4 cubic feet of Aspen for $9.98 at tractor feed and supply... I think that is a pretty good deal!
