Oh. Well... yeah. But it seems to me that when people read that insects are a normal part of their diet, they'll go out and just buy them crickets... if there is good proof that they cannot digest them, I'd like to present it to them.

I know, I was just throwing that out... I do agree that insects should not be considered a part of a garters natural diet unless I see some more evidence.

hmmmmm....when I was a kid I forcefed some flies to a garter.....passed out the back end untouched!!! didn't digest one bit!

So, I took an updated pic of my California red sided garter tonight. Its been pounding pinks down straight from my hand without scenting. Didnt want to start a thread for 1 pic, so here it is. Guess I'll have to start a "Lorens snakes" thread soon.
