    Re: Thamnophis.com World Meeting

I'm hoping Sid's local knowledge will help us out with choosing the best time to go. I plan to go for a full week, others could come and go as they wish. They might want to stay for a week or just a couple of days.

Kuno, I think 100 members is unlikely! I hope to convince 20 people to join me.

1 week camping in NC sounds like a plan.
i will make sure i am able to go, although you will need to protect me from the DBR, pigmy, timber rattlers, the copper and the cottonmouth lol. not something i would like to see up close and personal. although i can bring back the hoggie and the ringneck

    Re: Thamnophis.com World Meeting

I never heard back from the camp site near New Bern. Not that there is any firm decision made yet that we should go there. If we made Willmington airport our centre, we would be in Pender County NC.... that's where the Super-Red Garter was found. Anybody got any further suggestions as to venue?

James, Wilmington is just to the east of where I have been on field trips for the last two years. I think Scott is about 3 or so from there.
