    Re: Wayne's reptile room

I am glad to hear one of them is going to be OKAY (hopefully)!

it's so nice to see the milks doing so great! I remember how worried you were but look how perfect they are now!!! My male looks EXACTLY like that, he's already losing his color... but my female is totally a different story... she has INTENSIFIED her red color and light borders with a few sheds... her colors are REALLY saturated, now almost raspberry red and I am hoping this trend holds up!!! If so that locality my be worth investing in a breeding project!

    I can see it now...

    Re: Wayne's reptile room

My favourite sweetheart Carmella left her first perfect shed for me sometime last night while I was sleeping.

All of her previous sheds have flaked off in chunks, and when I first found her the skin was so dry she made crackle noises whenever she moved.

I tried soaking her in the tub, yeah right, she shoots back out like a cat tossed into a swimming pool!

I have been keeping her in coconut fiber (eco earth) and misting frequently, even rubbing her with shed aid spray.

Last shed was close to perfect, but I still had to peel off some stuck bits from her face, and her left eye cap stayed stuck on.

This shed was flawless, so it appears that after nearly 3/4 of a year my patience (and hers) has paid off.

here she is all shiny and fresh. Both eyes perfect and pretty
