    Ok, here it goes- my snakes. I am still waiting on the Lyre to shed, but I am tired of waiting. This portion is the part of my collection that I call the natives.

    I'm gonna list them in the order they are found on california herps. com

    Well, That does it for the California portion of my collection. Sorry, there are a few missing- I dont have them yet.

    Yes, I have searched for one for a few years- supposed to be common in the areas I go. Wanted one so bad, I was always rehearsing in my head how to run them down so I'd be ready...
    Finally had one given to me by a friend. I will catch one one day- though I will just keep its photo since I have one now.

    They are very interesting to handle. A little bit intimidating when it rises up from your hands and looks you in the eye, as if to say- "I might go crazy on you any minute now". Haha.
