Oh and by the way, those of you who said this could be a blessing in disguise, were very right. Even though the house is small, its warm and comfy. The land is great, close to town, and my two girls absolutely love their new school, and the kids have been very friendly towards them, not stuck up like at their last school. we are all very happy here, and our landlord doesnt seem like a jacka$$.

Sounds like things are working out great for you...that is wonderful! The snakes look great and the enclosure looks beautiful, as always. My albinos love to pretend they are tree snakes! Thanks for the update.

thanks.. yeah mine do too you cannot tell them they are NOT tree snakes. My two spend as much time up in the plants and climbing things i give them, as on the lower level. Its amazing how good they are at climbing and figuring out how to navigate around all the fun stuff i put in for them to play on. They never disappoint when i buy them something new.

My easterns are not quite as big on hanging out in the trees...they like to climb around and explore...but my albinos will sit in the hanging plants all day long and sleep in them...my snow actually just shed up in his hanging plant! I joke around and say that they think they are venomous jungle vipers!

lol mine love to hang out up top, but their very favorite spot is in their snake cave especially when its shedding time, i keep it warm and moist in there, you cant tell but there is a heat mat under the tank under the snake cave. Keeps it nice and toasty and humid for them, and its a fav spot after a big meal.

I can relate to the jungle viper thing.. i have to laugh at these two when they go around trying to rattle their tails like rattlers, and then do their cobra impressions, and then of course the tree snake impressions..

Love the tank! I showed Bill so we can get more green in ours. I'm so glad to hear that you and the kiddos are settling so nicely. I hope your nerve pain gets better, I know what you're going through. Welcome back!

Thanks! I love having the green in the tank, it just looks more natural and they seem to enjoy it immensely, the tree to the left is actually fake, its not real its a resin tree i got on sale at petsmart. but they love it.

as for the nerve pain, its hard cause i have so much to do on a daily basis that requires lifting so its going to be a slow process, but im on the mend.. Thanks for the welcome back..

Good to have you back and I'm happy to read that the move went well (other than the neck problem). Big bonus if you discover a wild garter den on the land.

The den would be a huge bonus, with slow movers lol so i can sit, have some coffee and watch them explore the area.. maybe find a really cool looking one. We will see and i will be sure to post pics if i see any..

My easterns have a cave over a heat mat too that they really love. That is funny about the tail rattling...that, I have never seen with any of mine...however, my snow, Possum, does an uncanny cobra impression...he likes to lift his head up and then tuck it back and coil and strike at the glass...he's so little and sweet in nature, that it's really hysterical!
