I've always been interested in those, but I've only read bad experiences... keep us posted about yours, if it does fair well I might reconsider my position on those. They are beautiful!!!

I have kept these for years, Got the husbandry down pretty good.

It's the serious lack of information that costs the lives of so many.

The vendors selling them are even clueless as to what they eat.

This one is already sucking down the night crawlers like spaghetti.

very cool. I was also hoping to get one of these guys but I have read so many negative comments I was a little nervous. I have read that its very hard to get these guys to feed in captivity, do you agree with this? any tips?

there are smooth greens here so i was wondering if i would be able to get one feeding (if i was able to catch one). love these snakes!!

    thanks

Smooth greens are rare and located in Nova Scotia. They are not legal to keep.

infernalis, would your mind telling us a bit about the captive care you provide. Any luck getting them to breed?

Cylpohiops Major is not a smooth green snake.

They are from the Asian rain forest. This snake is almost 3 feet long.

I will be back soon and post all the tasty details.
