    Thamnophis Newb!

    Hey all,
Thought that I'd finally join after several months of becoming a new snake owner, and then learning way more than I thought I'd need to learn about these snakes lol
My red-stripe, field collected ribbon snake turned out to be pregnant and gave birth to a litter of 16 about two months ago. Since then I feel as if I've learned a lot about this type of snake and absolutely can't get enough of them.
I am excited to join this community w/ others who love these snakes as much as I do

    Hi Lilith and welcome.
Whattcha gunna do with all those babies?

It's just now baby season here in Story county Iowa.
They're everywhere (in the yard) but they're hard to catch.
