    captive garter snake eyes

This has maybe been mentioned before but I have a couple of garters who almost look as though their eyes are too small for their heads? I've never seen this on photos of wild garters so was wondering if anyone could shed any light on it.

Unfortunately I can't add a pictures as I don't have the required number of posts.

Without a photo for reference it's hard comment. Make a couple more posts so we can see a photo.

I don't wish to spam the forum with loads of nonconstructive postings but I'll see what threads I can reply to.

Here's a photo of my girls, I'm not sure if it shows the skin around the eyes. almost like the scales don't cover them properly?

Good looking snakes. I see what you mean about the eyes but don't think it's a problem.

It certainly doesn't seem to bother them and they're both healthy as horses otherwise. The infernalis is named Spook and the marcianus is Caelyn.
