    Identification

    Hey everyone new to the forum loving it I got me a pair of garters today had some questions on species. I have 2 I was told male and female still unsure but they don’t look to much alike I’m kinda curious of what I have. Rescued off Craigslist today hoping to find out exactly what they are. Also wondering should I separate I was told they been living together but idk if I want to keep it that way. Definitely would like to breed them. I got them in a 20 gallon long switching them over to a 40 breeder if I can keep them together. Thanks for reading

    Until the mites are killed they should be separated. Photos would be great.
