    Cool Florida Girl saying hi!

Hi guys, I'm Tora! I'm an avid animal lover and have been looking at snakes recently, but since I've hand raised baby mice I wasn't into keeping one. I then heard about Garter Snakes from my best friend who keep all sorts of pets from birds to hermit crabs since his all mostly eat fish, frozen and live, and I've been wondering a little about they're care, and then I saw this forum!

Well, since this is an introduction, I'll tell a little about myself. I've had pets since I was 2 or 3 years old. My first pets were two Lilac Crown Amazons, Luigi and Mario. Luigi was actually my mom's, and Mario was mine. He was supposedly a mean bird but, growing up hearing the commands for them, I knew immediately how to keep him under control. A few years after that, I got a lovebird and a couple parakeets and my first reptile, an Eastern Box Turtle. I've also kept a variety of small fuzzies from rabbits and guinea pigs to mice and hamsters. I currently have 2 Maine Coons, 2 Siamese, a Pomeranian, a Dwarf Rabbit, a Syrian Hamster, 3 mice, 2 Green Anoles, 4 Bahaman Anoles, and a Crested Gecko. I've also got a baby Indo Pacific Gecko, but she escaped and now I see her running around my house from time to time. She is only a few months old and is already 3 inches long, including her tail. I will probably be spamming tons of pictures soon, but for now I'm gonna chill out with the photos. You can find me on the Pangea Reptile Forum too, if you're there so that you can see pictures of Pasquale, my Crested Gecko!

Have a great night, or morning everyone!

Hello Tora. Nice to have you with us. Garter's have a varied diet which can include mice. They are a good food for garters and can be bought frozen. Night crawlers are another of their favorite foods. Feeding an all fish diet can cause problems. Varied diet is best. Here's a link to the forum care sheet. Feel free to ask all the questions you might have.
