I pay 21p each for pinkies. I buy them 500 at a time from a local pet shop.

Pinkies in the local pet shop are something like 1€(!) a piece. I bought 40 for 20€ at a fair a while back. 50c each is the standard price, directly from the breeder. Effing expensive.

Smaller market, higher prices.
