    Cold snake.

Hi, my children have found a young snake. It’s -1’ C right now. And won’t be warming up for about a week. Should we just release it? Let nature do it’s thing? It was found in a traffic area of the farm. Also lots of cats and dogs around. Just wondering what should or can be done for this little thing! Thanks so much

Let's identify the snake first. For now, provide water and a shelter(hide). Inside temps are better than outside right now. Photos would be great.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.
