    Red worms

I bought a container of red worms at the bait store to fees my garter and northern brown snake. Are these worms ok to feed my snakes? I've been reading that it might not, that they might be toxic to snakes. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you.

No, they put out a defensive fluid that can kill small snakes. Stick with Canadian nightcrawlers (Lumbricus Terrestris).

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.
