oh jeez. It's not that difficult. You have two options: Upload the pic to a file hosting site such as ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting and use the photo insert button to post the link to that picture (called hotlinking) or you can simply attach the photo to your post, which will upload the file to this site and display a clickable thumbnail.

Personally, I prefer the first method. Upload a photo to imageshack. When that's done, view the photo at full size on their website. Right click the full size photo and choose "copy image location".

Then reply to this thread, hit the "insert image" button. When the box pops up with http:/ in it, hit backspace to remove that irritating and unnecessary text. Then right click, and choose "paste". That will place the URL of your uploaded file in the box. Now your image will appear full size, directly in the body of the reply, like this:
