I released a few males back into the yard a week ago(not easy to do) Last night I went to go out the back door. Before I opened the patio door I saw a radix looking in. It was one of my men that had been released. I opened the door and he came into the dining room. I reached down and picked him up. You may find this hard to believe but he looked relieved. I sat down on the couch and we talked.
My heart sank when he said "Don't you love me? what did I do wrong?" He promised to never poop in the water dish and never steal pinkies out of the food dish when I wasn't looking. I didn't have the heart to tell him I knew nothing about those incidents. His final word did me in, "Daddy, I promise to be good, please let me stay" With those words I fed him 4 pinkies and put him in with his brothers.
I just can't say no to those eyes. I'm a sucker for those radix eyes.

Okay, not all of that story was true..........
