So, about that het albino flame; what's the price looking like for the offspring? (probably out of my range)

Albino melanistic? sounds like a contradiction.

    I'll pm you.
It is a contradiction. But both triats do show.I guess it is the type of albino used. That's probally the reason for the dark pigment. The eyes are black and red.

So, what's going on there on a genetic level? The term albino is usually reserved for animals that are actually white, as the name implies.

That depends on who you talk to.Just like lucistic is supposed to be lukistic.amelanistic typeB?maybe.I am not sure which one is a or b.These type of amels are straw colored and not as sensitive to light.

i kinow exactly what you mean when you call the snow an albino melanistic because thats what it is, i feel the melanistic isnt a true melanistic, its a BLACK MORPH,a pure black sirtalis,no pattern no color so the albino just took away the black of a black snake,i think Ghost would be a better name for the Snow...thats just my oppinion

OK, that made absolutely no sense to me. Melanistic: increased or abnormally high melanin. Albino: just the opposite. Makes no sense that a snake can be both at the same time. It either lacks melanin, or it doesn't.
