i personally like plains they feed well and are wonderful to handle even the little babies! they also come in some interesting color morphs at a reasonable price (i personally like nebraska albino plains there purple and yellow when you see them in person!)

I do like the plains look - i could almost pass the normal plains off as an eastern black neck to my 5yo... they look kind of similar.

I think i'm making some headway here....So they have different diet interests than the blacknecks? Easier to switch to pinkies and easier to handle?

blacknecks are more of an amphibian eater, but will eat other foods. plains will eat fish, worms, amphibians and easily switched to rodents. they are very tame too.

What baby normal plains do you have available and is it safe to ship this time of year?

I have normals that carry the albino gene, and normals that carry the red phase gene. generally overnight shipping is good, just got to watch temps and use ice packs for cooling if needed.

I should also have some normal babies with no odd genes soon.

NJRIDERAC, I have two of Dons babies and they are both in great health and eat well. You would certainly be happy buy going this route!
