I'm trying to figure out where the Butlers garters might like to live in my area.
I remember catching super-stripey snakes as a kid, but my old haunts are now subdivisions. (I've spotted out a few good looking ditches and canals, and we shall see what spring turns up.) I wish it was as simple as country vs city, but Butlers appear to like both.

Do you mean I'm lucky to have my angel boy Freud (a supposed Butler)?? I mean I know I'm very lucky because he is so wonderful but I mean in that he is that type of garter...
