    Re: Stefan's garters

    Nice.

I had placed an ad a few weeks ago, saying that I wanted to buy pretty much any type of feeder animal. Well, a couple of weeks ago a person from my home town contacted me and asked if I was willing to make a joint order and share the shipping costs. So I agreed and we ended up ordering from a guy pretty much on the other side of the country, about 700-800km away and I got my part of the order today.

So, unless any of my females starts fasting, these rodents should last about 6 months. In retrospect, I should have ordered food for my males, as well.

At least you got that covered and you have a better option from now on. I was glad to find a reputable source that allowed me to cut out the middle-men.
I'm still working out what I'll need to streamline my orders. Thanks to my garters fluffs and pinks dissapear fast. My medium and adult mice however (for the Everglades rat snakes) are set to last about 10 months. By my calculations I need to triple or quadruple my order on 'small thingies' once I run out of 'biggies' and I'll be there more or less (of course fish shopping is a lot easier).
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.
