Aw, now I feel like I've missed out on something! As much time as I spend harassing snakes, I've never been musked on...
But maybe you could try a small amount of kerosene? It sounds odd, but my grandpa self-stains a lot of furniture, and that stuff gets wood stain off of skin... Of course, the smell of kerosene is pretty bad too, so I guess that'd depend on how dead-set you are on getting the musk off!
