Sadly little Phoenix died this evening.She was just too weak and even though soaking her body in the water temporarily seemed to revive her a tiny bit, in the end it just wasn't enough.

Cat wounds are often deeper than they appear. You did everything you could... just take some time to recover from the loss, and then start over with a more secure cage!
