    Here is the slug that helped the baby eat. It's name is Herb (because it adds so much flavor!!).

    I'm pretty sure the slugs Chantel is talking about are not native to NA, but common still. Tiger slugs get huge and are quite common around my yard. Their slime is somewhat clear and not so "super glue" like. All my snakes that eat slugs, love tiger slugs which are native to Europe:

    Both if you're talking about the very dark brown huge ones with orange bellies and slime. They're both native. Both eat things that aren't good for your garters, (toxic mushrooms & other fungi, toxic plants, feces, etc.) and they both have choking "super glue" slime.
