    I agree with the others...I just think garters do better when housed with a buddy. I always try to put one in with another when possible. But with a wandering, I would not put another one in with him. As far as size difference goes, I try to put together snakes that are relatively the same size...if I think one snake could look at another and think "That looks like a yummy worm"...I don't put them together. Lol. When putting snakes together, I put them together and then keep an eye on them for a couple of hours...to make sure they are getting along okay.

    Yeah, Wendell and Zack are 2011s, but poor little Hodgins is a 2012. The big guys eat worms bigger than him! I gotta feed him more often, to put some meat on his bones!
