I was referring to technology and knowledge we didn't have before, but whatever. The point is, when the goal is to make money, things aren't built to last (electronics are a big offender) and the only way to keep making money is to get people to consume more and waste more resources.

I know what you were referring to, I'm saying money does represent such technology and knowledge. It's a brilliant solution, really.

People are consuming voluntarily. It's not money's fault. If you want the waste / consumption to decrease, convince people to waste / consume less. They have all the power.

Kind of hard to tell but it looks to me like it's probably just an eastern garter. Guy probably caught it. Check out that water dish. And SAND? bad idea.

Approx 12 corn snakes up for adoption locally. And that's just craigslist, and just the past 3 weeks. Stop buying them people, if you can't commit. Jeez. And if you can commit, just adopt one.

Just found this on CL: "glass enclosure 36" L x 18" W x 13" H with a screen top, Price is $20" Not bad. Includes a corn snake but I don't even want that.

Not really. It's not a very complex problem. How to actually convince them is the tricky part, since you can't really reason with them.
