    Ive had many of them. Im very familiar with every garter snake that you can get your hands on, i think ive had them all. They are a black snake with black eyes and a black belly. I believe the correct term for a black snake is melanistic.
    Whats the difference between a parietalis and sirtalis...the red right? You take away the red from a parietalis and you have a snake that looks like an eastern garter....am i wrong or right?
