What do you do for a living?

I'm an animal health tech (Albertan for vet tech); which is now just a hobby. I"ve resorted to the construction trades to pay the bills. When asked what am I though, I never reply a tradesman. Anything I do for money though is to work towards a self supporting career with reptiles.

Good luck with that, Ian. I think many of us would aspire to that if we thought we could make it. I did it for a few years, but couldn't sustain it, in the end I had to return my attentions to real life or starve to death!
Don't be discouraged or put off. If that's what you want, you go for it....best of luck to you.

I am a lecturer in college, teach mainly computer programming. (Java, Pascal, vb6 - vb.net.... etc...

Thanks James, this is definately a life long aspiration. I know exactly what kind of business I"m aiming for; it's just getting my current economic disorder fixed and saving up.
