I've read all the books including the LotR trilogy, the Hobbit, the Simerilian

I've read them all. I must admit I found The Silmarillion rather hard going....Almost dull. There is a collection of stories, compiled by Christopher Tolkien...'Unfinished Tales', that's pretty good.
