    Thanks everyone. Sid, glad to hear it's not uncommon; that's basically what I was wondering. James, do they normally snap out of it or think she'll always be like this? She seems so frail to me, poor girl!!

    I do feed Mordecai seperately, as he is just such an agressive feeder, and as he gets bigger I worry. OH-- that's the other question-- I do hope they can keep living together?? Even if he gets much bigger?? They have always been together... surely he knows she is not a meal??

    This is my first time with pickeringii, but I've had other species in the past which would suddenly start eating after a slow start. I hope the same will be true of the Pugets..... My female also appears very frail.
