You know, one of us should take on the job of sorting through, cataloguing and storing all these wonderful Garter Snake pics into the 'Articles' section, so we have a quick photographic reference and identification guide. Who's up for that?

It needs to be someone with a 'good eye' for a decent photograph, a knowledge of the Thamnophis species and sub-species and sufficient computer savvy to do the business...... I know who I'd choose!

Yah i think some1 should do that too, also include the area the species is found, and also if the type of garter is very variable such as easterns then the person doing it should post multiple photos showing the variations.

Distribution info is available in the species description sections.... I was thinking a pure photographic reference. But multiple pics for each species/sub-species/morph etc.... absolutely.
