    Well maybe I should get another snake then because I can't get it to eat anything else.

    Try this: Allow the feeder item, I guess you could use a large-er feeder GOLDFISH, to be caught by the snake. Once she's got it about 3/4 of the way down and her mouth is still open, coax the tip of a pinky/fuzzy nose into her mouth. If she tries to rub it off or move away, persist unless she really frustrated. It may help to wipe the goldfish on the pinky's nose a bit first too.

    could i have one? i'm looking for a male wandering or at least a female thats not gravid.and i was wondering do you have any males? if not can you sned me a female? i have been trying to get a wandering garter

    I have kept vagrans for years. I have never seen any cannibalism and I have kept number of them together and of varioius sizes. I have heard males have eaten newborn babies...but have never seen it...I keep gravid snakes separate. I have seen them eat lizards also
