I think I've been programmed pretty well to be afraid of rattlers. As much as I'm learning to love snakes I just can't quite wrap my mind around these little guys. There's a part of me that thinks they're cute and another part that gets chills down my spine... guess it's a healthy fear, but still a weird feeling.
