No "auto focus"??

Another trick is to push the settings button until you see a flower show up, that is macro, then you can reach right in to the tank and put the camera in the snakes face.

When you snap your photo, hold the button half way down for a moment, it allows the camera to auto focus, then push the button the rest of the way down.

Well the thing is, I do all of this. The macro won't focus closely though. It works the same as the auto focus. I do hold the button down though, and with my camera little green boxes light up around focal points when the focus locks on.
