    Rep-Cal Multivitamins

Does anyone use this on their snakes.

Rep Cal Herptivite Multivitamin Reptile Food Supplements

I use it with my Leo, mixing a bit of it with the calcium powder. Does anyone use it with their garters by chance?

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

    Re: Rep-Cal Multivitamins

I discussed that with her and she has the repcal...she wanted to know if she should be using the multivitamins as well. I told her I don't have experience with them but that I'm sure someone on her does and could tell her how to use them if she wants to...but that I don't think it's necessary to use the multivitamins. Maybe some other members want to weigh in on that.

    Re: Rep-Cal Multivitamins

I have two types of multi-vitamin that I use occasionally. One is a powder which I sprinkle on food maybe once a month., the other is a liquid which I put in the water with about the same frequency (not at the same time though).
Whether it's necessary, I don't know, but the vitamins don't stop them drinking the water. Some of the snakes are fussy when powder is sprinkled on their food though, but they're the same with calcium powder.
