how often should i feed my snakes?

I feed my snake 2 -3 minnows every 2-3 days. Should I feed more often? Do you know where I can get worm during the winter?

How big are the snakes? I get my worms from wal-mart ear round.

About 25 inches long. I never thought about looking at walmart

personally I do not feed fish because of parasites. Pinkies and worms are what I stick to. If you goto walmart and look around the fishing and hunting area the worms should be there.

You can chop them up and scent them with live guppies

Mine is less then 25 inches and can take a whole one so you should be ok.

My 25ish inch snakes eat several pinkies in a sitting at times.

Don't feed minnows.
