haha not their names wild caught, just observing them for a little while then returning them. the big one sure had a huge appetite last night!!!!!

There's some truth to that. i guess my garters don't want to leave. Accidentally left an enclosure open recently with 3 of them in it and i was gone all day. nobody got out. I come home finding it wide open and 3 garters basking under their lamp looking at me like "when's dinner?" lol

haha gotta return them (might keep the baby) only one place in pawtucket ri to catch garters is a lot with some rocks and trash. gotta make sure they re populate the area! but man did the big one love nightcrawlers and salamanders!

Wow nice looking garters ya found, of all the walks i have taken since its been nice i think i might have heard a single snake, not sure what kind, but the dead grass was so close to the ground i don't know what else it could have been.

thnx caught some more yesterday and a gorgeous dekay. let most of the go. kept the baby garter and the big (male?) looks male but i tried not to handle him too long and stres him yet. finny thing is ive had captive bred and all were picky eaters from the start and always hid. these guys just hang out and chill onthe leaves big one is starting to shed and has been soaking in his water. i added a bunch of wet sphagnum moss to keep the humidity up. but its nice to see the wild caught ones just out and about. they piss on me but have yet to musk.
