Should give em some wet PTs to help with shedding. Still cute little scrubs for sure.

What was the paternal gene (father)? They look cute! Captive bred or wild caught? Oh! Welcome and glad to have you here.

Right after I took this photo I put them on moist paper towel with a piece of wood... These are from a wild caught female! Currently working on getting my license so I can sell them and keep them legally in Texas... All should be well!

Wow, that's great. I didn't know radix was native species to Texas. I guess the paternal gene was t.radix also?

The are native to a Northern strip in Texas... They are an endangered species in Texas. The T. radix I have are from Nebraska! And I could only assume it was T. radix! haha I have found red sided garters in the same area in Wakefield but I have never seen any hybrids...

Pretty sure there is zero leway in Texas with being able to sell T. radix, even with the non-game permit. We can only commercially breed T. marcianus, T. cryptosis and T. proximus with that permit.

Unless there is another permit I am not aware of. BTW we can collect and keep all Texas native thams (collecting requires hunting license for private land and reptile stamp on top of that for public land).

I know a guy who sells and breeds T. radix here in Texas also... He gets a nongame dealers permit... And tracks baby sales and turns in a report once a year... I'd have to prove mine are out of state... TPWD, I called today but the person I need to speak to is unavailable until the 31st.
