Painting arrived in the mail from Steve today!!!

As the winner of the "Name the Ranch Black Neck Pair Contest" with my entry of "William and Kate", chosen by Steves daughter Emmy, my prize was a painting commisioned by Steve and Emmy, done by their friend and artist Andy Lewis. Part of the surprise was that I emailed two photos for Andy to choose from to do the painting, but I was not told which one Andy had chosen to use. Well Andy did a fantastic, simply beautiful artistic rendition of one of my California red-sided (T. sirtalis infernalis) garter snakes produced by Scott Felzer. This painting will be hung up in my snake room and cherished for years to come. Thank you very, very much Steve, Emmy, and Andy.
