    2016 Pastel granites..

Today my f1 Pastel granite checkered female began laying down scrubs! So far, one stillborn granite and one live granite. The stillborn was inside of the hide while the other was hiding in the substrate. Hope fully I'll see more by the end of the day.

Couple of other views of the live scrub. Actually I think this one may be pastel checkered with a reduced checkered pattern.

With that head stamp and light coloration i wonder if this animal could be a super pastel checkered? That would be nice!

Thank you Tommy. As of 4pm no new scrubs. I have a feeling that she isn't done yet. What a big loss that granite is. Well, back to the tasks at hand and moving on. Waiting on the concinnus now.

Sucks that the granite was stillborn. Was a beautiful animal. Hopefully you get some better luck on future litters.

We have no control over morbidity and mortality with these animals. It did hurt to see this. Very sad though. Thanks for the better luck wishes. I appreciate it.

No new scrubs from the pastel granites. Both females back taking food so I have to assume at this point the production is over. My red concinnus has been gobbling food ever since she was paired and hasn't ceased. So... Idk if that pairing will take bc she is 2 weeks overdue for 90 days. Any way glad to have this little girl as a holdback. Really think she is a super pastel granite checkered. Can't wait for her to put some gram weight on.

Thanks Zdrav, I am hoping that my red concinnus drops a litter soon but idk. She bred back in Jan 2016 and should have had something by now but... we'll see. Blue pugets and albino granites is a goal for later this year... fingers crossed. Haha.
