    Ribbon on the Ranch

I was delivered this beautiful Ribbon Snake today. It was abandoned by it owner and has made its way to the Ranch.
This photo doesn't do this female justice, much of the blue in her face is lost.

Western Ribbon Snake (Thamnophis proximus) to the best of my abilities.

She's very pretty and had been eating salmon before coming to the Ranch.
He first official act was to poop all over me when I first held her.

That's always a good sign If it immediately bites you, messes on you, or temporarily escapes, it always ends up being a good pet (random hillbilly superstition). Good looking snake; I love ribbons.

She downed some salmon chunks this evening.
I'll have to work on hand feeding later on.
    She's a beautiful snake.
Glad she made her way to the Ranch.
    More photos to follow.

    Re: Ribbon on the Ranch

I've decided that once she's out of quarantine she'll be going in with a group of my big radix girls.
I'll have them work their magic on her.
Before I know it I'll have a perfectly behaved Ribbon.
